I have the DROK DC 0-120V 0-100A Digital Multimeter and am wondering if I can read values from it with something like a Raspberry Pi. Does it communicate with the display via RS-485, RS-232, …?

    Thanks

Yes, I realize that it cannot connect directly via USB, but it does have a wired interface for the display. How does it communicate with the display?

    Thanks

I found in the manual posted on this forum that it communicates over RS-485. Would it be possible for me to get the protocol for it?

    Thanks

Well, I am able to connect to it with an RS-485 adapter. I just don’t know what the data means and I was hoping you could help. If not, I’ll keep working on figuring it out on my own.

    Thanks

    Hi.

Have you already found out how to handle the data received via rs 485?

I’m trying to do something similar, and I’d appreciate to hear how far you’ve come.

    Cheers Julian
