I just bought the “Waterproof DC Buck Converter Voltage Regulator 8-22V to 1-15V 5V 12V 3A Adjustable Output Power Supply Transformer Step-down Volt Module Board for Car Auto Vehicle Motor Regulated SR” and what I want to use it on is my car passenger window motor. problem is that when my window goes up i’m losing voltage. normal it’s 14v but once it drops 10v my window stops. I have replaced every component in my door. so to compensate the voltage drop and to keep it constant i was going to use this. when i do a test with 18v to my window motor it goes up and down like normal so I thought this will work. only problem is that the way the module works in my door to control the window is that switches polarity in the module. so would this be a problem using this converter or will it blow? when the window goes down it’s positive 14 volt but when it goes up it switches and reads -14v. can you recommend something else if this is not what I can use. thank you so much.
