    Hello,

I have purchased a Drok 6.5v-100v 20A numeric mulitimeter and I would like to keep the kwh data even when we disconnect the battery voltage.  Is their a way to cut a pcb trace (which supplies power to the memory circuit) and supply this memory part of the circuit by connecting a 9v battery on it ?

What would be the driving current used by the memory circuitry in order to know if it is worth it to use a simple alkaline 9v battery.  This will give me an idea how long will this external batterywill be capable to hold the memory.

    Thanks,

    Hugo.

    Hello Hugo Lagrandeur,

We think it should be this item. 200141

Even though you disconnect power, kwh data is still there. It will keep accumulating unless you reset it.

    Best regards.

I need some help in connecting my DC Bidirectional Digital Multimeter up in my 1999 Southwind MH so I can really determine the health of my house batteries.  I’ve been thinking that I would use the Wiring diagram for self-supply power. Hooking up to the two 6 volt series batteries looks simple enough, but would it be right to hook up the unit to the (on/off) switch in the MH that turns on the 12 Volt system where it calls for the Load? Also what size of wire should I be using?
