I recently purchased the Digital AC Display Multimeter 80-300V 100A Voltage Current Power Factor Frequency Electric Energy LCD Monitor SKU: 200199. When I contacted an electrician he said he thought I would need a second current transformer to be able to use the energy monitor because the circuit I want to measure is 100amp 220v two phase power. Is it possible to connect a second ct to this unit? If so, where can I buy the right one? Is this even necessary, or will the meter work on two phase power with only the single ct? If a second ct is not needed, can you provide a wiring diagram for my electrician’s reference when installing the meter? Thank you.
