    The instructions sat 5-12Volts but the catalog says up to 35V.  What is the correct range?  I want to use it with automotive 12 volt source – ranging from 11 volts to 16 volts.  Will it work?

    35v is the limiting voltage. Item will get hot serciously.  It is recommend input voltage can be 5-24v.
