Would the Drok 090198CA buck convertor work to limit the output voltage on my outboard marine engine? The engine voltage increases with RPM and will go above 17 volts (max 5 amp output)  which is normal on these older engines as they have no voltage regulator and only designed to charge battery for electric starter.  My electronics that have a max voltage of 15 volts and trip out if I rev up the engine
