The Android micro USB OTG cable supports phones with OTG function to charge other phones and exchange data, has high practicability and functionality. Current flows from silver terminal to gold terminal(insert silver terminal to phone with OTG function and enough power, gold terminal to phone which needs to get charged).
If your phone has OTG function and connects to other device without OTG function via the OTG cable, your phone will charge the device first; and if the device has memory, your phone will take it as a removable storage medium and read its memory.
