100016 meter over current question

Hello,

Regarding 100016 combo meter….If current exceeds the 100A that it is rated for, what will the meter show? will it stop at 99.9? will it shut down? etc….

Also, how much % overload is it rated for?

I am using a 150A rated shunt.

Hello Mark，

Meter only show”1″ if it is over 100A. It is not suitable to under over current for long time.

And shunt should match meter range. Or there will be  measurement error.
