Have just received (3) “X000HR73UH, DROK 12V DC Voltage Met…Sensor Probe LED Display” units. Each unit has three wires, Red, Black and Green, plus a remote wired printed circuit board with two push button switches mounted on them.
Before I hook the meters up, I would like to confirm that the red is +12 VDC, the black is 12 VDC return and the green is earth (ground connected to the black wire).
Also, what is the function of the two push buttons?
Hello Greg,
Thank you for purchasing.
The red wire is connected to the power supply+ (DC 7-30V); the black wire is connected to the power supply- (DC 7-30V) and the green wire is connected to measure voltage+ (DC 0-200V).
The button on the left which is marked “M” is to switch to display time, temperature, voltage.
The button on the right which is marked “S” is for time setting.
Here is the PDF file for the product.Instruction_B00E7OF820
Hope this will be helpful to you.

However, button marked “M” does not appear to have any effect as to setting the display to only one mode when quickly depressed.
