adjustable volt. regulator to use 18 volt battery with fish finder

Hello,
I would like to an adjustable volt. regulator to use 18 volt portable drill battery with fish finder. The fish finder (Humminbird Helix5 Di) rated for 10.8-20 volts, and pulls 615 mah. I was considering the DROK Numerical Control Voltage Regulator DC 5-32V. Is this the right choice? Also, would there a different requirement for a litium baterry, same voltage?

This is a buck converter, if you input 18V, you can get output voltage under 18V.
It don’t have different requirement for litium battery.
