I have a Adjustable Voltage Regulator DC, DROK Buck Boost Converter 6.0V-36V 9v 12v to DC 0.6-36V 24v 5A Power Supply Panel, Constant Current Volt Step Up Down Module that is heating up within a minute and giving me an over temp shutdown. After 20 seconds or so after the temp drops it turns back on. But it hits over temp within a minute each time. Running on a 12v 20 switched power supply stepping down to 5v 2A. I do hear the fan turn on before over temp but it still shuts down.
I am guessing something is defective in the unit. If I adjust the max temp cut off, it runs to that temp. I was in a room that was not hot and it typical for the environment of 80 degrees F.
Can you give me some direction or is it defective? Please advise,
Duane
Hello dj,
Please check if it is this item, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089ND7PTH?ref=myi_title_dp&th=1
Did it show “OPP” ? Would you like to show how it is by images or video?
Best regards,
DROK

I don’t remember the default temp it was at but it was really quite low. I tried increasing the temp a bit and it still would quickly go over temp. What temp should I be setting the over-temp limit to?
