Reading about 20v when I’ve checked my batteries and they are at 13.6v
My unit has only been fitted for about a week before developing this fault.
Been looking for a cure for this as I’m reluctant to buy another one if it is a common fault.
I’m hoping Drok will respond with an answer to our problemHello Leon,
Thank you for your writing in.
We think the item you are talking is not the same to the last one.
Would you please tell us the part number or just send us the link?
To find out problem for you, would you mind telling us more details about your operation and othere parameters?
If you can, a short video would be more helpful. You can upload it to Youtube and send us the link.

this is the item I bought from Amazon UK
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B017NG8IMA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I wired it in exactly as described on the unit, It worked fine for about a week,
SoI know it’s wired in correctly.
Then for no reason it started to flash the backlight and readings.I pressed the reset button on the side, that turned off the backlight and it stopped the reading from flashing on and off.
But the voltage reads about 20v, all the other readings seem to be OK.
I know the batteries are at about 13v so not sure why it’s reading 20v+
I’ve tried disconnecting the unit for a while, but when reconnecting it still shows the same fault. (flashing numbers and backlight) until I press the reset button.
Then It just goes back to showing high voltage.
I don’t know hot to attach a photo or video.
I can tell you at present (22:00pm) the reading on the unit are:
Voltage: 20.13V
Current:1.79A
Power:36.8W
Energy:897W
The batteries are at 12.6V as per my voltmeter.
I hope this is enough information to help solve the fault. -
