    Hello,

    I need advice on a boost dc-dc regulator that can convert my 12V 5amp continously rated battery pack to a 24V output.

    I need to make sure your device won’t be drawing too much amperage and damage my battery.

    My battery is only rated for 5amp continuous discharge.

    Hello,

    Whichever converter, it can’t force  load to draw more current. Actual output currenet mainly depends on load. If load just draw 1A, it is impossible to output 2A to load.

    For charging battery, it is better to choose converter with current limit feature.
