I need a 5V output power supply for a small solar power application. The deep discharge battery will be allowed to go as low as 3V before the low voltage detection circuit shuts the system down by disconnecting the battery. I hope you can see that it is very important that the power supply maintain the output at 5 volts with a 3 volt input until the system has completed the shutdown. Failure to do so may destroy an expensive battery, or the Raspberry Pi computer.
In your extensive product lineup, I found only one product that claims to meet the 3 volt input requirement: model # 090646. However, your specifications are incomplete. You provide no test data showing line and load regulation, and no test data showing temperature effects on line & load regulation. You do not even provide a statement in your specifications to that effect. Is there anything you can offer to address my concerns over this?
I also have two (2) questions:
- Model # 090646 is not available through your Amazon store. Is there a reason for this?
- I need only a 5 volt output. Low-cost potentiometers do not provide a stable reference voltage. Can you tell me what voltage is needed at the wiper arm of the potentiometer to yield 5 volts at the output?
Thank you for your help. I look forward to doing business with you.
