I just bought the “DROK® Digital Multimeter DC 6.5-100V 20A” on Amazon. I intend to connect it to my solar panel on my travel trailer. Can I connect both the positive DC input and the positive load wires to the positive wire on the solar panel and the same for the negative side? I realize the multimeter will take up some of the power, but I assume it would be minimal. Would this wiring work okay?

    Hi,

Thanks for the wiring diagram. In my case, I want to measure the output from a solar panel, but I also want the solar panel to power the multimeter as well. Could I connect both the positive for the DC in and the positive for the load to the positive wire of the solar panel and the same for the negative wires.

    Thanks,
    Steve
