Hello Chuck,
Thank you for your reply.
We have checked your link that this product is sold by roroauctions, which is not the seller of DROK (kuuco, iawoo, jenny).
So we are not sure the technical characteristics and the instruction of this product.
If for the product of DROK, the measured range of the meter is 0-10A, which is no need to add a shunt.
Here the measured range is not the real measured current of the load, but the technical specified measured range of the meter.
However, since it is not the product of our company and we are not sure the characteristics of it, this information is for reference.
Hope this can help you.

Therefore you should know the product, regardless of who sells it. And if not, then maybe it’s a counterfeit product using your name. In which case, you might want to find out who’s pushing a fake DROK product. Because honestly, this thing works, but is not accurate. And leaves me looking at other products instead.
Hello Chuck,
Thank you for your valuable suggestion.
This is the counterfeit product using the name of our company.
We will take measures to warn the the sellers who use our name and stop them doing it again.
Great thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.
So sorry for the inconvenience caused on you.

Thank youChris SJune 14, 2017 at 12:03 pmPost count: 0I just puchased a DROK D85-3051 DC Digital Voltage & Current Meter from Amazon for my Solar Power system. This system is a max of 20v and 5a system. I have wired it up with the provided shunt installed, as per the 1 page diagram in the package, as we have a lower than 40v system here and the load has no discernbable shuint installed.
I thought that amperage was measuring high, so I did some invesitgation.
I used by portable digital mutimeter to measure the DC voltage and amperage. The voltage was correct, but the amperage was out by an order of magnitude. The D85 was reading 7 amps, while my multimeter was reading 0.007 amps. Can you explain the differential. Does the D85 revert to showing milliampos rather than amps when the amperage is low?
The product I purchased was:
