When I turn off my engine my car battery has a 133mA current draw. Then, after 60 minutes my car battery amp draw goes to 22mA. Which is acceptable. But after a week without running the car, I have to jump the car, battery is too low.
I suspect something is turning back on draining my battery. My battery which is about 2 years old says it is BAD. I hesitate installing a new battery in it without some investigation. QUESTION: Do you make an instrument that will record the DC amp draw, save it into memory where I can see if something is periodically raising the amp draw. Maybe then I can do a search for the culprit. I suspect it could be in the ‘security’ equipment but can’t search if the draw is 22mA. Would need to search for it when the amp draw is high.
