DC/DC Step Up/Step Down Converter

Hello,

I need something to step up or step down from 9-15v to always be 12v.  I recently ordered and tried LTC3780 (link below).  However it got really hot and started smoking.  I’m drawing about 150w max.  Do you guys have anything that supports a larger draw?

Hello Chris Brands，

150w is too high for this item.  It would be better if output is within 144w.

If max output power is 150w, is the output current 12.5A?  We have one support 160w , but output current is only 5 A.
