I accidentally changed the settings in the calibration menu including the menu numbers as well as the save numbers. Please send me detailed information on all settings so I can fix my mistake.

    Hello Joel,

If reading is not correct after changing, you need to calibrate it according to below steps.

DC adjustable power supply, multimeter, load

    Voltage calibrateion:

    1. Hook up the meter with power supply and load.
    2. Keep pressing ‘’OK” button and power on meter. After power on, please wait for 3 seconds and then release button. It will come to setting interface.
    3. Please move yellow cursor to “Mode” and short press OK button, then move the yellow cursor to “10.V” and increase the voltage of adjustable power supply to 12V. Then press up or down button to adjust measured voltage of meter until it is the same as actual output voltage.
    4. Next, please press “OK” button to move the cursor to “40.V”; increase the voltage of power supply, this voltage value can be any one between 32V-40V; Then press up or down button to adjust measured voltage of meter until it is the same as actual power supply voltage.
    5. Please short press “OK” button again to move to”10.V”, and repeat the above two calibration for 12V and 40V. When the error between measured value and actual value is small, the calibration is finished. Then press “OK” to move the cursor to “Save” to save the setting; at last, power off and then power on again.

    Charging / discharging current calibration:
    1. Hook up the measuring module with power supply and load according to the charging/ discharging wiring diagram.
    2. Set the power supply as over 12V, then hold on the OK button and power the meter simultaneously. Hold on OK for 3 seconds and then release. It will come to parameter setting;
    3. Please move yellow cursor to “Mode” and short press OK button, then move the yellow cursor to “+4.A”(It is “-4A” in discharging mode). In that case, please make sure the actual load current is over 1.00A. Next, please press up or down button to adjust the current value of meter until it is the same as actual load current. After that, press OK, move yellow cursor to ”Save” and save the calibration.

1.Connect the meter, power supply and load according to the charging wiring diagram.
    2. Hold the “OK” button for three seconds to go to the parameter setting;

3: Move yellow cursor to “Mode” position, disconnect the load firstly or make sure the load current is 0.00A; then click the “OK” button to adjust it to “0.0A”, and then short press the ↓button, the current display value will be returned to zero.

3: Then click OK to move the Yellow cursor to Save, and click OK to move the Yellow cursor to Mode.

Any more questions, please kindly contact us.

    Best regards.

    Question about calibrating.

Does the current calibration need to be zero’d before calibrating the current +/- Amp settings ?

or should you zero the current after calibrating ?

    how accurate are these meters?

Please send me a notification of answer.

    Thanks.

    Hello Dacflyer,

Are you talking about below item?

If you mean no-load current zero clearing, it has nothing to do with current calibration.

When no-load current reading is not zero, you can reset it firstly. If there is still error, please calibrate current as per above steps.

    Best regards,

Unit not calibrated upon receipt. Have carried out the procedure, all ok except charge amps wildly inaccurate. With a fluke ammeter in series it is possible to match the reading but when current is changed the Drok unit goes out of calibration ie actual amps 3.5 drok indicates 7. Have recalibrated the unit several times but no improvement. The discharge amps indication follows correctly.

    Regards

    Hello John Rhodes,

    It it  above item? 200219

Did you do charging current calibration under at charging status? If possible, would you like to show us your operation  by video?

You can sahre us video link or send attachement to service@droking.com

    Best regards.

    re calibration problem.

No, I did not fall into the old trick of trying to calibrate charge while looking a discharge. The no-load indication was 0A, I went through the whole re calibration settings  several times, thinking it was Me, but while I am able to set voltage and discharge current correctly every time,  the “charge  current” indications are still incorrect. I was using a 50W lamp as a load at 12v at full voltage the indications were 7 amps on one occasion  although I was getting  wildly different indications for the same load each time. Meanwhile the “in series” ammeter was reading just over 4 amps as you would expect.

    Dear customer,

Do you mean you didn’t calibrate charging current?  If not, would you please try to operate that or show us your operation so that we can check problem more quickly?

    Best regards.

    HI Again!

Re the calibration problem. I have calibrated both charge and discharge currents several times  but with the results as stated previously.  The no current reading was zero in all cases. Discharge reads correctly , charge can be set to mirror an in series meter, but changing the load  then produces wildly inaccurate readings.

    Dear customer,

Would you like to show us the probelm by video? As we can’t check it personally,  all we can do is to ask information from you or thorugh images, video.  Sincerly  hope you can understand.

    HI

OK you want to see it via video, fine but it will take a couple of days before we can set that up, as we are in the middle of a project.

    Hi

While I was making the video, and the ammeter was making the usual erratic readings ,the ammeter section ceased working altogether.

So, as far as I am concerned the unit has failed.

    Hello John Rhodes,

To find solution,  would you like to show us how it is now so that we can pass it on to technicians?

    Best regards.

    Hello Roee Bloch,

Are you talking about below item#200219?

Please kindly notice the battery icon is not regarding actual battery capacity.

What it shows is a capacity percentage ((actual AH value /setting AH value)*100%).

It can only work when you set OAH protection.

    Best regards,

    DROK
