DROK-180081 Serial connection

Greetings, I see the 180081 has (at least the holes for) a serial connection. There are two rows. One row is 5 holes. That one I assume is for the USB-Serial adaptor that I have with another DROK unit (5005). The other one, 3 holes is what I am most interested in. I need to connect this unit directly to a serial connection. I hope Im correct in assuming these 3 holes are for a straight serial connection with no “adaptor”. I need to know what standard these are (if they indeed work). I mean by this RS-232 or RS-485 (RS-422 would need at least 4 pins). Can you help me with this and how the port is setup as default?

What unit would you recommend that can take an RS485 Modbus connection directly (no “USB adaptor”)?
