DROK 2001712003US is showing a current reading 2.5 X less than actual

I have a DROK 2001712003US that is showing a current reading 2.5 X less than actual.  Its as if I have a 500 amp current sensor instead of a 200 amp or maybe a jumper is set wrong in the meter.  Any advice on how to fix this?

For example, if the actual current is 45 Amps, the display will show 18 Amps.  Or if the actual current is 3 Amps the display will show 1.2 Amps.  The actual current is always 2.5 X what is displayed.

It turns out it is off by varying amounts depending on ?.  The zero drifts too.  This thing is to unstable to use.  I ordered a different model with a current shunt.

Did you reset current zero with no load? If you can show us how it is, we should be able to find out what wrong it is.

Two problems:

#1: At 111 amps, (by separate meter), your panel shows “56.6”.  Made sure to zero your meter first.  That’s off by 50%!

#2: My battery bank is 24 volt, 4200 Amp Hrs @ 8 hr rate.  But your meter will NOT allow me to set that value.  How can your meter be programed for that capacity?

We are sorry t6his meter can only monitor 0-999AH batttery. Please refer to below measuring ranges.

Current measuring range: 200A

Power supply range: DC 5～90V

Voltage measure range: DC 0~300V

Capacity range: 0~999AH

Power range: 0~999KW

Electric energy range: 0~999KWH

 

Regarding current reading ,do you mean you reset current zero? Did you operate that with load or not?

If possible, would you like to show us how it is now?
