Hello,
I have purchased a Drok 6.5v-100v 20A numeric mulitimeter and I would like to keep the kwh data even when we disconnect the battery voltage. Is their a way to cut a pcb trace (which supplies power to the memory circuit) and supply this memory part of the circuit by connecting a 9v battery on it ?
What would be the driving current used by the memory circuitry in order to know if it is worth it to use a simple alkaline 9v battery. This will give me an idea how long will this external batterywill be capable to hold the memory.
Thanks,
Hugo.

I’ve been thinking that I would use the Wiring diagram for self-supply power. Hooking up to the two 6 volt series batteries looks simple enough, but would it be right to hook up the unit to the (on/off) switch in the MH that turns on the 12 Volt system where it calls for the Load? Also what size of wire should I be using?
