It is easy to hook up. Please see the following diagram. This signal generator is connected in series with power supply and load.

Input voltage range for #300479 is DC 5-28V.so 9v is OK. But we recommended it is better DC 12-24V.

Hello Drok again

On Amazon you have 3 different kind of 4-20mA generator.

1- I need a simulator for passive devices ( such as Temperature Transmitter, Pressure Transmitter / Device that is power from PLC Analog Input card) – Please advice – Thank you

2- I would like to power the generator by 9V battery because I go from device to device in the factory.

Is this one good ?

This one can’t work with 9V battery, its working voltage must be DC24V.

This it for 4-20ma output. It can’t offer 0-10V analogue output.
