Hello i just purchased a panel meter to show me my current and amperage which i’m using for my electric outboard motor, but i am not familiar with the metric given for power consumption listed for this item

The specs state the led panel consumes 0.5VA.  I am unfamiliar with this term and i am used to having power consumption listed in watts or amps, so i am trying to find out how much power panel this draws so i can pick an appropriate resistor to use with it.

    Hello Evan Geiser,

VA is  unit of apparent power.  Watt is  unit of active power.  In direct-current circuit, apparent power is almost the same as active power, so you can just take it as 0.5w.

    Best regards.

Hello, I have your VAC9010H meter and I cannot find how to clear the Amp hours and watt hours on the meter. Thank you for your help.

    Hello Mike Bilderback,

Thanks for writing in. We think it should be this item 200219

Watt hours will be reset after power off.  As for AH zero clearing, please move cursor to LOP then short press down button; when there is no cursor, please short press OK button, time will be reset and AH will be reset or filled.

Any more questions, pleae kindly let us know.

    Best regards.
