Hello, I just received my panel and I don’t see you indicating anywhere what type of relay I need to be using. Does the panel work with NC or NO relays? For safety it should be NO and it applies power when not in an error condition to keep the relay closed and providing power. This way if the power gets below 10V and the panel shuts down, everything is disconnected. Please advise. Thanks.
There is no Specific requirements on relay type. But you need to pay attention to working voltage. Relay draw power from “Vext” port, which voltage range is 10v-60v.
In addition, relay is used to control output on/off. Panel will not shuts down in that case.
I seem to have this device working properly for controlling a relay but after 20-30 min it will close the relay. Even if none of the protection features are enabled. Do you have any suggestions for what could be wrong? Vext port voltage is steady at around 13v. Thank you.
