Hello
I just purchased a DROK® Digital Multimeter DC 6.5-100V 100A from amazon.ca. I installed it today in my camping trailer to monitor the batteries. The voltage displays fine. I try to put a load on and the current and power display 0. Not sure what I am doing wrong? I followed the wiring diagram exactly. Please help!
ThanksAnthony

The voltmeter and ammeter work great until I start the engine. The ammeter goes to zero until I turn the engine off.(Voltmeter is fine.) I have the shunt wired into the negative battery cable as per instructions and it works great until I start the engine. I s the alternator charging in reverse to the battery flow? Will this damage the meter? Do I need to install the shunt in the alternator cable to read the output of the charging system?
