    connected this battery monitor to 12V deep cycle battery.  initially showed 95%.  within 5 minutes was showing  88%.  does this monitor drain batteries that fast?

    Thanks for writing in.

    The working consumption for meter is only around 6 mA.  Besides percentage, did you check voltage change？And is there other item connected to battery?
