    I recently purchased a tachometer via Amazon only to find that it is not comparable with an automotive tachometer signal.

    Does anyone know of a proper input circuit design to adapt the tech signal to something this tachometer can interpret?

    Can drok make a traditional automotive tachometer?

    Please advise.

    This is for a 1989 GMC Sierra 2500. It had an electronic HEI ignition system. The tach signal is from a 12vdc square wave to my knowledge.
