    Gentlemen,

    I have installed two dual volt/amp meters 4.5 – 30 volts 100 amp DC meters # BOOGLKQOKl. They are to monitor alternator performance on my Yanmar boat engines. Both displays light up and measure voltage but show ZERO amps

    Each shunt is connected between the negative post on the alternator and engine block/chassis ground. The alternators have a separate negative ground connection. They do not rely on the case for ground. All connections are exactly as your wiring diagram on Amazon.

    Both displays light up and measure voltage but show ZERO amps. My Klein DC clamp meter around the ground wire from the alternator shows about 15 amps just after engine start settling down to around 3.0 amps after a minute or so.

    It has been suggested that I try swapping over the two sensor wires to the shunt. Should I try this?
