ERR Message

I bought the <span style=”color: #111111; font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;”>DROK -20 to +100℃ Digital Thermometer, DC 4-28V Indoor Outdoor Thermometer at Amazon and installed it in my vehicle today.  It functioned properly for about five minutes, then the outside sensor display switched from the OAT to “ERR”.  I extended the sensor wire by about one meter, in order to mount it under/inside the front bumper.  Again, the device initially worked fine.</span>

Do you mean the meter display “ERR”? Could you please kindly take some images to show how it is? And how large is the power supply?

Problem resolved.  My splice failed and the connection was lost.  Easy fix…works fine now.  Thanks for the prompt reply.
