I have a battery, an inverter, a breaker, and the DROK Digital Multimeter DC 6.5-100V 20A Voltage Amperage Power Energy Meter DC Volt Amp Tester Gauge Monitor LCD Digital Display w/ Built-in Shunt.

How and where do I connect the Drok meter if there is a inverter as the load and the pos + and Neg – leads are directly wired to the inverter from the battery as power source.  There is already a built in shunt in the Drok meter?

    Hello Mike,
This is a 20A meter with built in shunt. If the inverter is a load. The connection is just like the diagram showed.
    Best regards.

    Hi,
I have just purchased you Drok Digital Voltmeter / Ammeter 0-199.9V / 200 A unit and shunt.
I have a boat with a 12v domestic system. How do I wire in the unit to measure battery voltage and also the total current drawn when various loads are turned on such as lights, fridge, navigation equipment etc please?

    Many thanks
    Adam

    Hello Adam F,

We can’t ensure the item you bought. Is it this one? 100419
Lights, fridge, navigation equipmentIf are in different branch citcuit. If you want to measure the total current, please wiring it in the main circuit.
    Best regards.

I ordered 10 of the 090704 and I received 5 D69-30 and 5 DL69-30.  When connecting up the DL69-30 as per the label the meter will not turn on or read.  The Label on the D69-30 has no polarity markings on it,  I can get the D69-30 to power up, but no matter which way I connect the input leads I cannot get it to rear correctly.  How should they be connected?

    Hello Matt N,

To check what wrong it is, would you like to show us your connection by image? And did you receive two different meters?

You can attach image here or send it to service@droking.com

    Best regards.

I have a motor home using 50amp service from my electrical panel (dedicated) I want to know if I can use the D69-2058 to monitor the motor home’s current and wattage draw.  If so can I put the drok in series with the neutral wire off the electrical panel.  Wiring diagram would be nice, as well.

    Hello Jim Russell,

Please check if it is this item, #200444, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YC1XHKQ?ref=myi_title_dp&th=1

Please notice it is suitable for  circuit with one hot wire. If your system has two hot wires, it can just monitor one of hot wire.

Notice: meter can’t be connected in series with any device. Please refer to the wiring diagram in pdf manual, https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91rRRuNV+xL.pdf

RE: Drok VAC9010H  used with more than one  power source

is it possible to put several hot wires; each from different power source/battery,  thru the hall magnet….. IFFFF each power source wire was on a switch so that only one was powered anytime you wanted to view the data.

Of course you dont in reality want to disconnect your power from what it normally powers, so would assume you would then parallel wire….  with one leg going on to devices needing power while other leg…. which is switched…. goes thru the hall magnet and back to itself.  Maybe a diode would be needed in that scenario so power cannot feed back?   If that would work….  what is issues/limitations?

Or would it be less costly/more KISS to get the ability to measure more than one battery another way?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

    Hello George,

Is it possible for you to draw a simple diagram to show your connection. And please notice it is for DC measurement. The hot wire you mean should be positive or negative, is it right?

    Best regards.

I recently purchased a Drok VAC9010H. My reason for purchase is I want to be able to track my voltage draw on my sailboat house batteries, my intent was to install on the 1 main lead between the batteries and the main boat shut off.

    2 questions then,

    1) is it the correct product? (I purchased from amazon)

2)Should I wire for internal or external  power supply wiring without relay?
