    Hello,

    I purchased a DROK®Ultra Small Hi-Fi 10W+10W Dual Digital Audio Amplify Board Stereo AMP DC7.5-15V 12V 8Ω 20mA 2 Channels PC Class-D Power Amplifier Module for Car Vehicle Auto Audio System Bookcase Speaker recently, and it has not been functioning correctly. I have plugged it into a variety of speakers, and each time it only plays a loud humming sound while heating up rapidly. After a couple of seconds, the speaker will simply stop producing sound, including the static humming.

    I have no clue what’s going on. I was wondering if there is a fix, or if I would be able to get a replacement chip. Thanks,

    I am putting 12v DC into the amplifier. I have an auxiliary audio cable from my computer plugged into it as well. Both the right and left positive terminals are hooked up to wires that are soldered together, as are the negative terminals. These wires then feed into a speaker. This is all on my dining room table.

    I will take some pictures later today or tomorrow, but I am fairly busy right now, and will have to disassemble one of my speakers to show you what I mean (as after the chip failed, I used it for something else).

    And I don’t know if this is pertinent, but I ordered the amplifier through Amazon.
