I am installing this meter :
https://www.droking.com/digital-ac-display-multimeter-80-300v-100a-voltage-current-power-factor-frequency-electric-energy-lcd-monitor
I am using it to monitor an AC 30 amp 240v outlet, which is using 10 gauge wire.
10 gauge wire is too large to fit in the terminals of the monitor.
Is it safe to use 14 gauge wire to connect the monitor to the 10 gauge wire with a wire nut? (see picture)
Hello Matt,
The green terminal is used to measure voltage only, meter will not draw too much current. So it doesn’t matter what kind of wire gauge is.
Best regards.
I want to measure current of a 220volt heater. Please tell me how to do with this dork 200444 I just bought thank you
