Our catamaran has 4 alternators (2 on each engine) & I’d like to monitor their outputs individually.  I’m looking for 100A shunts that connect to small digital DC panel meters, ideally with both current & voltage readouts.  The shunts have to be copper or bronze (non-rusting) & will also be connected to the (external) alternator regulators.

Does Drok have small systems like this?  Or individual components I can put together?  Or possibly a panel meter that will work with, for instance, a BestTong Anti-Rust Metal Electric Current Shunt Resistors, 100A 100mV Copper DC Shunt ($14 from Amazon).

I’m also looking for a pair of AC digital meters for measuring our AC inverter. It’s an older Heart that puts out a rather square wave. Is the DROK 0.39’’LED 2in1 Multimeter AC500V 200A Voltmeter Ammeter, AC Volts Meter Panel Ammeter Gauge with Current Transformer, Two-wires Digital Ammeter Volts Meter Tester (also $14 at Amazon) the best choice for this application? I would need to buy 2, as we have both 120v & 240v outputs. Thanks!

    Hello Jon Hacking,
Do you mean you need a dc current& voltage meter with shunt? How large is the measuring voltage/current?
So far we don’t have AC meter can work for square wave circuit.
    Best regards.
