I love the DROK OLED USB tester but I need something log data over time and control load current, up to 40 days or more. With your permission, I’d like to reverse engineer the tester and ad a USB to UART converter, then use USB data path to control load current and monitor USB voltage and current. I’m not developing this for commercial purposes and would be willing to share the completed design if you’re interested.
NickMay 13, 2016 at 12:55 amPost count: 0Hello, I need to change the low voltage threshold. I think is says it can be done but I see no documentation saying how. I did find a similar product from Amortek with a manual but the instructions didn’t work. I assume you have different firmware. Please let me know how to change the alarm setting.
thanks,

Sorry for our late reply.
Here is the instruction of the product which has mentioned how to set the low voltage threshold.
Instruction_200180
Hope this can help you.

Best regardsalmooreSeptember 30, 2016 at 2:09 pmPost count: 0Hi apologies for my delayed response. The product that I was look at is on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/DROK-Multimeter-Voltmeter-Capacity-Troubleshooting/dp/B00S2HJAUE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1475243763&sr=8-3&keywords=DROK
I like the ST8 micro and I think with the addition of an FTDI USB to UART IC along with ST8 code changes and a UI would help facilitate the data transfer.
Moving forward, I think we could upgrade this device, https://www.amazon.com/DROK-Portable-Intelligent-Discharge-Resistance/dp/B01E6YSGPG/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1475243763&sr=8-12&keywords=DROK&th=1, to include data logging and possibly software controlled current load.
I don’t have time to develop this project but thought that you might be interested in pursuing it.
