I have the above hooked the a USA 220VAC 60A circuit that feeds a Mitsubishi heat pump and 2 air handlers.

It is currently displaying:

248V 1.69A

52.5W

How can this possibly be? This is 419.12 VA and the only way this can equal 52.5W is if the power factor is 12.5% (approx).

Hello Tony Jones,

Thanks for writing in.

This meter only measure active power. If load is not pure resistive, powe factor is not closed to 1. So P< U*I .

If possible, is it convenient for you to confirm the power factor for your device?
