Trying to read and set the device from the uart, but not having success.  I’m using putty, and the only response I’m getting from the device is DOWN or FAIL no matter what I send.

Any example or more details on the Serial Interface Control?  Am I supposed to send ASCII strings or binary?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the exact same problem with the DROK 200368 using putty. It outputs FAIL or DOWN…???

For me, I didn’t figure out the putty setting, but I didn’t have the problem when directly reading and writing to the Serial port.  I’m sure it’s a terminal setting, but I couldn’t find the specific one.  I moved on to writing my own c# code to communicate with the device.
