    I’m applying 5 volts 2 amps (I’ve tried with 1amp)

    but it just doesn’t seem to amplify anymore than the input volume, if I turn it up further then the input volume, the sound just turns off with a few milliseconds of sound every few seconds at a low volume, did i get a bad unit or am I doing something wrong?
