    I recently got the buck boost converter (5 – 30V). When following the steps to set it up as an ordinary buck boost module i run into an issue on step 2. It says to connect a multimeter and measure/set the current. When I try to do this it either sparks or the voltage suddenly drops to zero. Not sure what I’m doing wrong,

    When you short output terminals with multimeter probe,  there is short circuit current. So it is normal that it  sparks.

    And voltage drop is also no problem. Please kindly notice you can’t adjust voltge in that case.
