“Standby mode: all circuits closed, at a low power state”

Does this mean that if the amp is receiving no input signal, which would imply that it is running in a lower power state, the amp output will be “closed = off” so there would be no noise or hum coming out of the speakers if the amp were to remain on? Also my board did not come with jumper pins on that option, can i just solder them on and short the standby mode? Thanks, Craig.

    Hello Craig,
    Thank you for your reply.
If you short the STBY pins, the board will turn into standby mode, no matter there is a input signal or not.
There will be no output until the STBY pins disconnected.
    Hope this can help you.
    Best regards
