I received and tested this device now, powered by 12V.
I want to go into the main menu (P0,P1,…P5) and set the values. I cannot get into this menu.
This is what I do (to set P0):
1 – Power on device
2 – Press “Set” for 5 seconds. P0 comes up on display. I release “Set” button.
3 – I press “Set” quickly once again, to adjust the P0 value (hysteres).
4 – I do not get a numerical value on the display. I get a couple of the display segments lit up, but it’s not a number, nor a digit.
5 – I try to press “+” or “-” but still no number (only display segments making no sense). This is what I try to set P1:
1 – Power on device
2 – Press “Set” for 5 seconds. P0 comes up on display. I release “Set” button.
3 – I try to go to “P1” by pressing “+” briefly.
4 – I get one of these on the display: “—“, “…”. I do not get to see P1.
5 – If I try to press “+” or “-” there is no number there to change.Really I am at loss of how to program it. The device seems otherwise fine.
I have tried to follow instructions from Amazon (where I bought it). I also tried Youtube instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UDmbRgrIGo
Comparing to Youtube, the difference is exactly in item 3 above.
Your help is appreciated.

1 – I found out that the target temperature could be set outside of the menu system (it flashes up after pressing “SET” briefly”).
2 – I could adjust the target temperature.
3 – However when then testing with this new temperature, measuring on hot pipe, I can see:
3a – As I cross (increasing temperature) over my target temperature, the “cold” diode starts to light.
3b – However, neither relay clicks. My load (cooling pump) is not activated.I still cannot get into P0 to P5 menu.

This is printed on the board: XH-W1501
