We have a printer we’d like to use on a harvester (12v) that needs 24v at about 2.5 amps. We bought this device from drok and connected it to the 12v output on the harvester. Then we connected a meter and adjusted the drok until we had 24v output. Then we hooked up the printer. The printer would not power up and we blew a fuse.

Any thoughts on where we might be going wrong?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello Erik,
    Thank you for writing in.
Is the output voltage of the product is 24V when without connecting the printer?
Have you checked that if there is reverse connected of the positive and negative sides?
It is better that you can send us some images of your wiring to let us check the problem details.
You can send the images and the information by email (service at droking dot com)
With your help, we can find a solution more quickly.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Best regards
