I would appreciate your advice on this problem.
I have an electric Club Car Precedent golf cart. It is a 48V system with a 12V lighting system. I recently replaced the four 12V lead-acid batteries with one 48V lithium battery.
I installed a voltage regulator to reduce the lighting system’s voltage, and it promptly burned out. The mechanic working on it says that the battery is putting out 69V instead of 48.
So I have two issues:
1. How to reduce the voltage going to the motor to 48V.
- how to reduce the voltage going to the lighting system to 12V.
Can you recommend a product(s) to solve this issue?
Thank you,
