Wire gauge for Meter

Hi, I recently purchased https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YC1XHKQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

 

I’m connecting this to a 30a 240v line. Do I need to use 10gauge wires to connect from the plug to the panel meter, or can I use smaller wires as there shouldn’t be much power going through them like 14gauge?

Hello,

If you mean the wire connected to green terminal, it only measure voltage, load current will not go there. You can  use any wires gauge, juse make sure the withstand voltage value of lead wire is enough.
