Hi Drok I have a 200 amp service I wired two of these meters for my house monitoring voltage/amps watt & energy and they work great. My neibour wants me to do the same for him he has a 400amp service and these CT transformers are to small in diameter to go on 2 200ap wires can I install 4 CT one on each 200amp feed and connect 2 ct to each of the 2 meters or do I need to use 4 meters or another solution would be a larder ID ct if there is such a thing Pls reply

(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YBX1LWS/ref=as_li_tl?tag=proeng-20&keywords=dc+voltmeter+ammeter). I am unclear as to exactly how this should be wired. The diagram on the back of the device does not indicate what should be done with the yellow wire. Can you please confirm? Also, the CT has two trim pots that I assume can be used to adjust the accuracy of the device. The meter also has an adjustment. Instructions on how to use these adjustments to improve accuracy of the meter would be much appreciated.

Hi Paul,
The yellow wire is connected to the positive side of the measured voltage.
Here is the current & voltage calibration instruction:
Current calibration:
1. In the condition without current, use slotted screwdriver to adjust the “Zero” potentiometer behind the current transformer until the decimal point of the current meter flashes quickly which is the best point. The decimal point is always bright or not bright, which means zero offset to positive. The decimal point flashing slowly means zero offset to negative.
2. Then load the half of the actual measured current to the meter, adjust the “Span” potentiometer beside the current transformer until the displayed current value is the same as the standard meter.Voltage calibration:
In the condition of half of actual measured voltage, use screwdriver to adjust the voltage calibration potentiometer inside of the meter until the displayed voltage value is the same as the standard meter.And here are some wiring diagram that we think it is useful to you:

A 1/2 amp or 1 amp is need for this unit for it’s power supply protection?
This would be nice to know as I really Uneasy about direct connect with out fuse protection on the power supply (red wire)
Since both grounds are common.. only the one common need be connected?

I want to use your DC 100V 50A Voltage Ampere Meter with a shunt to measure voltage and the amperage going to several devices in a vehicle including a radio.Since vehicles in this country are grounded on the negative side. I do not believe I will get accurate amperage readings using the shunt in the negative side since at least one of the devices I need to monitor is a radio transceiver that has another path to ground (the shield of the antenna coax).
I was wondering if there is a means to insert the shunt into the positive side of the circuit to be monitored.

I AM STUMPED BY THE DIAGRAM THAT CAME WITH THE UNIT. DO U GUYS HAVE A VIDEO OR SOMETHING THAT WILL SHOW HOW TO WIRE THIS THING. I AM USING A ISOLATED POWER SUPPLY TO RUN THE METER.
The solar panel is powering LED lights inside my home which is very simple but i cannot figure out your wiring chart especially the DC33v max box that is in the diagram.

JIMOctober 5, 2016 at 4:06 pmPost count: 0I found a video on youtube that shows how to wire the DROK 0.96 Portable OLED Multimeter DC 33V 3A – problem is that it’s in chinese… no problem though you can easily follow what the guy is doing in the wiring process – seems that I need a shunt resister evidently that must be what the DC33v max box is for in diagram — (they should label the box Shunt resister in the diagram)…

I am building a control panel for my model train layout. I have purchased four VB27VA dual DC volt/amp meters as I have three power supplies to supply 5V, 12V, and 15V DC. I have a 110V AC line that I would like to monitor on Voltage and Amperage. Can you suggest a panel meter that I can use to monitor these? I would also like to know if you have any temperature meters in this configuration.

Do you mean you want a AC voltage/amperage meter to monitor the 110V AC line?
Could you please tell us more details of your need, such as the voltage/amperage range, the measured voltage/amperage range, the working environment, the measured temperature range, Fahrenheit or Celsius?

It works well but only shows current draw from the battery.
How do you monitor + or – amperage?
I have an Recreational Vehicle and use your volt/amp meter to measure what the RV is consuming, I would also like to see how many amps are going into the batteries when I run the generator or plug the RV in to AC power. -
