Hello David Reichard,
Is it this item? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QVXXGVR/ref=as_li_tl?tag=proeng-20
It doesn’t need extra power supply.
Best regards.

<span class=”order-date-invoice-item”>Ordered on March 16, 2020 <i class=”a-icon a-icon-text-separator”></i></span> <span class=”order-date-invoice-item”>Order# <bdi dir=”ltr”>114-8239578-6816257 From Amazon</bdi></span>
<span class=”order-date-invoice-item”><bdi dir=”ltr”> asin B07RLZ869Q wireless ammeter with shunt</bdi></span>
can you help me with the wiring on the right side of the first wiring diagram?
system is 12 volt dc deep cell battery 100ah for all 12 volt RV use.
Where the diagram shows from + from vin to load, where do I connect this wire for RV load in order to measure amperage and voltage used?
Although diagram shows load connection is on – side, seems like it could only go to the right lug nut from the + battery side.
if there is anyway you could draw a diagram or suggest where to hook up for rv battery monitoring, I would appreciate it.
Also, battery is located external to rv in a plastic case. Does the measuring unit need to be separately enclosed to prevent any water infiltration?
many thanks.
will you be selling this unit again, as it is not very available on Amazon?
BobMarch 21, 2020 at 8:46 pmPost count: 0is this enough information? It’s the 100 volt 100 amp Drok wireless. It’s the smaller one. I put asin in last message.
thank you very much.

Thanks. In our wiring diagram, it doesn’t mean you need to connect load directy to VIN. VIN is connected to power supply postive and to measure votlage. The shunt part can be only connected to the load negative.
For any more questions, please kindly let us know.
Best regards.
JeffJuly 7, 2020 at 1:26 amPost count: 0Hello,
I recently purchased a Model YB4835VA volt/amp meter from Amazon and received it today. I wired it per the diagram on Amazon and it worked very well, so thank you! The load I measured as 240V and 5A. This was great, but I expected to see another decimal place in the Amperage readout – like 5.2. Looking back at the information on Amazon it was clearly stated that it only shows Volts and Amps to one digit, so I should have seen that when I ordered it.
My question is, do you make another similar product that shows Amperage with one decimal place? The one I purchased was rated at 200A but I only only need 20A max. Thank you for any recomendations.
Hello Jeff,
According to your description, there are two items for your reference.
#200068 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M27KVPM/ref=as_li_tl?tag=proeng-20
#200308 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XXBDCY9/ref=as_li_tl?tag=proeng-20
But we didn’t sell #200068 on Amazon since last year, now it is only available in our own website.
Best regards,
DROK

I have returned the first two for either incomplete assembly/missing parts or incorrect voltage reading. I now have the third unit and with it connected exactly as shown on the diagram on the back, Voltage is reasonable but Current isn’t even close. With my Fluke meter reading 3,5A, your device reads 65.3A. Logic tells me I’m waisting my time with your product, but I already have the hole cut for installation and if I give up on you, I’m will need to buy another enclosure.
So Here I am. on your WEB site looking for answers only to find many other people with the same problem dating back to 2016.
Hello mark,
Would you please offer product link or order ID so that we can confirm which item it is?
And would you like to show us the whole connection by image? If it is hard to show that by image, you can try to draw a simple diagram. We hope to check where the wires go to.
Best regards.

markJune 7, 2021 at 7:26 pmPost count: 0I have a jpeg and a pdf but can’t insert into this text blog. It is wired exactly as shown on your diagram on the back of the unit. I have been designing electrical circuitry for over 40 years. I have powered the display both with the 12V battery that runs the motor, and powered the display with a separate 9volt battery using a common ref negative with the 12V. Makes no difference.
