I have a nice wiring diagram that shows me how to wire these meters before and after a solar controller, using the same Shunt. My question relates to the two positive connections that are made to both meters, which appear to branch off from the connection between the battery and the solar controller battery output. How are these two connections made? Do I need to splice midway through the positive cable running between the controller and the 12V battery, or should the wires from the positive connection on the panel meter run directly to the positive terminal on the 12V battery?

I purchased a DROK Digital DC 12V Ammeter Panel Amp Meter Gauge DC 0-+/-50A Current Tester AC/DC 8-12V Current Monitor with Blue Back-light Black that I intend to measure AMP input from a Sailboat Wind Generator. I understand the wiring will come from the shunt, but would appreciate understanding the connectivity and purpose of the four wires on this unit.Respectfully,
