If I understand correctly, the wire going from the positive pole of Power goes to VIN- instead of VIN+ and there is no wire going to VIN+.

    Hello William Scully,
Yes, “VIN +” terminal doesn’t need to be connected when you use “VIN- ” terminal.
    Best regards.

If I understand your response about wiring VIV-; instead of the wire connecting Power+ to VIN+, I connect Power+ to VIN- and there is no connection to VIN+.  Is this correct?  I have a 4×12 battery bank in a golf cart.

    Hello William Scully,
We just consult this problem from our technicians. We are sorry we need to correct one mistake. When measure small current, the “VIN-” should be connected to negative of power supply, that is to say we just move the wire(the black wire in figure 1) from left large screw to “VIN-” “VIN+” is still connected to positive of power supply.Sorry for trouble caused on you.
In addition, please note this wiring can be only applied when the current is below 2A.
    Best regards.

I have not received a reply to my understanding of replacing VIN+ with VIN- in the Figure 1 diagram.  You are saying connect the positive pole of Power (48 volt (4 x 12)) to the negative VIN connection.

    Hello William Scully,
We have sated that we need to correct our mistake in last response. So your thinking is not right. Please subject to our last updated response.
“Vin+” is still connected to power supply”+”. “Vin-” is connected to power supply”-“. That is to say, you need to move the black wire from left large screw to “VIN-”. The black wire is as showed in the picture.

    Hello,

I have the 200193 and I have wired it following the instructions with the battery on the left lug. I’m getting reading that are reverse. I.E. I’m showing -10A when I’m charging the battery. I would have thought that should be just 10A not the -10A. Should it switch the left and right lug wires (therefor having the battery on the right lug)?

    Thanks!

    Hello Jon,
    Thanks for writing in.
It can detect two directions of current. When charging, current reading is with “-“sign.
If it doesn’t have “-“, that means it is discharging. So you don’t need to change the wiring.
    Best regards.

    Hello,

I bought a Wattmeter PZEM-051 from you by Amazon. I have missed the return date and finally tested it the last days. With 48V DC and a delivered power of 2 Ampere I can’t get reasonable data on the display. It allways shows 32A or 99A.
    Voltage shown is correct.
What can I do. Can I sent the unit back for repair, or….?
    Best Regards

Thanks for writing me back! If I want it to read the other way. IE. – when discharging and + when charging. Is that possible?

For me it makes more sense to have the – when I’m taking power out of my battery and +(no – sign) when I’m charging my battery.

i have this panel meter and was wondering how to get power to the display.  do I need to use the black and red jumper wire that came with it unit to power the display with 5v or 0-30v ? The usb plunged into The meter to display does not power the display. Also what is the 2w and 3w for and does it matter where it is placed?

    Hi Aric neeld,
    Thanks for writing in.
    Is it this item? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M5CWR2P
The jumpers is not related to display. When measure 10-120V voltage, the board doesn’t need external power supply, please put jumper at “2W” position.
For 0-10V measuring voltage, it needs 12-30V external power supply and please put jumper at “3W” position.
Have you tried to power the display separately?mobile power bank or DC power supply(10-30V)
    Best regards.

I’ve wired the panel meter in accordance with your 2W circuit. The voltage is measured correctly but the current measurement is 2x the actual current value? Is there another jumper or a switch that needs to be set to scale the current measurement correctly?
