Hello, I bought a USB-A/C combo tester on Amazon but the instructions don’t match the unit. There are 2 buttons, not 1 on the unit. Is there a user manual for this unit?
When using USB-C as input and USB-A output, the unit doesn’t power on unless I hold down button I for 10 seconds. Then the unit stays on, even if unplug the output.
If I plug a cable into USB-C output (no device on the other end), the unit powers on properly.
USB-A input to USB-A or USB-C output works as expected.

Hello David S,
oK, it should be ASIN number B09C4D1VXD.
Here are two notice:
1. Without PD device connected to output port, display is not on. You can hold the button”I” 5 second to trigger PD 5V voltage for other devices withou PD protocol.
2. When input voltage is over 5.8v, no output voltage on USB-A output, but USB-C still work.
For your second testing, we want to check if the power source to USB-C input is with PD protocol? If not, it is normal the unit powers on when you plug a cable into USB-C output (no device on the other end).
Best regards.
