    Hi Michael,
    Did you buy the Arduino control board, If yes, please plug into L298P shield, then connect to an external power supply, then it can drive the motor.

    Hi Mike,
    Thanks for your reminding and we have updated the website info now. Please following the steps to set the current limit.
    1. Adjust constant-voltage potentiometer to make output voltage reach the voltage value which you want. Turn clockwise to increase the voltage and or anti-clockwise to decrease voltage.
    2. Use 10A multimeter to measure short-circuit output current (directly connect two meters to output interface), at the samt time, adjust constant-voltage potentiometer to make output current reach preset over-current protection value.

    And the about LEDs, red light is on in constant current status and off in constant voltage status, blue light is on when charging and off when full-charging and Green light is on when full-charged.

    Yes, this board can prevent over charging, the P+ and P- are output interfaces, also are charging interfaces.
    You can use this board to make a cordless drill lithium battery pack.

    Dear Bernie, the motor is an inductive load, its current is unstable, so unstable reading is normal. Could you please change to resistive load to test if the meter is working well, then change to an inductive load.

    Answer # 2, No. And the cuts are used to adjust the shunt precision when producing, it is no matter for using.
    Answer # 3, Sorry, we don’t have such amp meter, but we have 0.56″ the volts amps 2in1 meter that measures current flow in both directions. you can click here then choose the one you need:

    (the +/- which means the measures current flow in both directions)

    If yes, download code to the Arduino control board, then plug in L298P shield, then connect to an external power supply, then it can drive you motor.

    We are sorry that we don’t have paper instruction for those DIY product, and all the information are on the website.
    Here is the wiring diagram for DC 100V 10A meter, and you don’t need to connect the shunt for 10A meter.
